About Pento Films

Pento Films is led by Jessica — Jecca to nearly everyone who works with her. Most of what we do is portrait sessions and weddings, with landscape work running alongside. The pace is considered, the light is real, and the set stays quiet.

Pento is built for people who notice detail, and who would rather wait for the right frame than settle for a passable one. That standard runs the whole way through: creative direction on the day, then editing and curation by the same hands that held the camera. Nothing outsourced, nothing padded, nothing that only holds up small.

What we are actually after is the half-second that would have gone unremembered otherwise — the breath before the laugh, the light coming through a doorway, the way someone looks at the person they chose. Those are the pictures people keep, and they are the reason for the slower pace and the longer look.
