That distinction between taking and making pictures changed the way I approach the camera. Photography stopped being simply about capturing what was in front of me and became a process of making conscious decisions about what an image should communicate. Since then I’ve approached each photograph with the responsibility to create rather than simply record — to recognise the right moment, shape it through light and composition, and produce an image that carries feeling without forcing it.

Photography has been a central part of my creative work for the past seven years. I was first drawn to photographing the details I found in nature, but over time that interest developed into a deeper focus on people, connection, and the moments that are worth preserving. My background spans audiovisual direction, cinematography, photography, multimedia production, and marketing, which gives me an approach to image-making that considers both the visual details of a photograph and the intention behind it.

I’m naturally detail oriented, and that has always shaped the way I work. I pay close attention to composition, light, movement, and expression, especially the subtle elements that can completely change how an image feels. Whether I’m working digitally or on film, I’m deliberate about what enters the frame and why.

When I’m behind the camera, I want people to feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I take the time to find the right composition, the right light, and the moments that feel genuine rather than forced. I’m particular about my work and don’t settle for an image simply because it is good enough. The goal is to create photographs that feel considered and refined while remaining honest to the people and moments in front of me.
